What does “AIB certified” mean?
AIB International is a food-safety organization whose standards and inspections are used across the food and warehousing industries. A lot of food warehouses and distribution centers are audited against AIB standards, and pest control is a big part of those audits. When we say we’re AIB certified, it means we know what those inspections look for and can set up and document your pest program to match.

Mice and rats get in through dock doors, utility penetrations and gaps in the building, and then they settle into storage areas and pallets. We find where they’re active and how they’re getting in. From there we use the right mix of monitoring, trapping, exterior bait stations and entry-point sealing (exclusion). We’ll also suggest practical changes, like getting product up off the floor, so the problem doesn’t keep coming back.
Bird control
Birds that get into a warehouse can contaminate product and keep coming back if no one deals with them. We remove birds humanely, working around your product and your operation. That can include specialized laser methods that move birds out without harming them or damaging inventory.
Insect control
Ants and other insects can show up at docks, in break areas, in stored goods and even in trailers waiting on a drop lot. We find the source, treat what’s needed and help you correct the conditions that draw insects in.
Stored product pests

Rodents at a produce importer’s warehouse. A bulk produce importer had a rodent problem on open-air pallets of fresh produce, at a facility subject to a Department of Agriculture audit. We sealed entry points, added exterior bait stations, got product up off the floor and used motion-activated cameras to map the rodent pathways. Every rodent was caught.
Birds inside a working warehouse. We were on site within a couple of hours of the call. Working with the customer, we opened the bay doors and used specialized laser methods. The birds flew out on their own, unharmed, and no product was damaged.
Ants in a trailer on a drop lot. We were on site within 2 hours. We sealed the trailer and put it under commodity fumigation. All the ants were eliminated, and the product was safe to ship to the customer in 3 days.
